OUR PROGRAMMES

At the Siyanda Hadebe Foundation, we believe that every young person deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our mission is to expand access to quality education and equip young people across all communities with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to shape their futures and contribute meaningfully to society.

Through our educational initiatives, we work to remove barriers to learning, create opportunities for growth, and empower young people to reach their full potential.

  • Our iKusasa Lethu Academic Support Programme provides free tutoring and academic assistance to learners from schools and communities that need it most. Through dedicated volunteer tutors and structured learning support, we help learners strengthen their understanding of key subjects, improve their academic performance, and build confidence in their abilities.

We recognise that many learners face challenges that can hinder their educational progress. By providing accessible academic support, we aim to ensure that every learner has the opportunity to succeed and achieve their educational goals.

  • In an increasingly digital world, access to technology and digital skills has become essential for success in education, employment, and everyday life. Our iKusasa Lethu Digital Literacy Programme equips young people with the knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate the digital landscape confidently and responsibly.

The programme introduces participants to computer literacy, digital communication, internet safety, online learning tools, and other essential technological skills. By preparing young people for a rapidly evolving digital society, we help bridge the digital divide and create pathways to future opportunities.

  • The Keep a Girl in School Project is dedicated to ensuring that menstrual health does not become a barrier to education. Through sanitary pad donation drives and awareness initiatives, we provide menstrual hygiene products to girls who may otherwise miss school during their menstrual cycle.

We believe that no girl should have to choose between her education and her dignity. By addressing period poverty and promoting menstrual health awareness, we help learners remain in school, participate fully in their education, and pursue their dreams without interruption.

Through these programmes, the Siyanda Hadebe Foundation is committed to building a future where every young person has the opportunity, support, and resources needed to thrive. By investing in education, digital empowerment, and learner wellbeing, we are helping to create stronger communities and a brighter future for generations to come.
